The black and white gives the bright red of Bitter N Twisted the perfect backdrop. Nothing is more classic than black, white and red together and the whole look is retro with just the right touch of glam.
Scotch Naturals Polish: Bitter N Twisted + Zcargel hat, vintage sunglasses, Kohl’s necklace, Albion swimsuit, Turkish towel, Old Navy sandals, and Simple Ecology bag.
Bannockburn is the perfect daytime polish. The shade of green is fun without being too bright. It matches these great palm print shorts and you can’t go wrong with a buttery leather tote.
Scotch Naturals Polish: Bannockburn + JC Penney shorts, Birkenstock sandals, Zara shirt, tote, watch, H&M earrings.
Nothing says romance like a hint of pink. This shade of warm pink is so perfect for summer, so I paired with with this flowly, light dress and accessories with similar shades.
Scotch Naturals Polish: Southern Charmer + Eliza J dress, Forever 21 heels, H&M bracelet, byMART clutch, Olivia Burton watch, and earrings from ModCloth.
The best beach houses seem to have the most unique textured details throughout every room. These special pieces are usually made out of natural materials from the beach, and we couldn’t be more inspired. I mean how simple and cute are these sea shell wall hangers? Plus, our favorite beach decor colors always involve the blues and greens of the ocean. The light blues here remind of Caleigh, the calming smokey blue creme for your nails.

This July we are looking for new ways to beat the summer heat. Over the past weekend we had the opportunity to make a “Whole Fruit Margarita”, which we are happy to report was absolutely delicious. The recipe is simple and best part is it doesn’t call for store bought margarita mix, which makes all the difference! Our recipe is listed below. We hope you love it as much as we did!
Ingredients (makes 8 cups):
- 1/4 cup water
- 6 ounces tequila
- 2 ounces Grand Marnier or Triple Sec
- 1 orange, peeled, remove seeds
- 1 lime, peeled, remove seeds
- 1 lemon, peeled, remove seeds
- 2 tablespoons of agave
- 6 cups ice cubes
- In a jar add all fruit, water, alcohol, and agave, mix together. Let sit in the fridge for a few hours to ferment.
- Pour contents of jar into a blender with ice and blend until smooth.
- If you prefer, add Himalayan sea salt around the rim of the glass.
