Perfect Pairings is a series where we ask our favorite bloggers to pair their favorite Scotch Naturals polishes with their favorite outfits. This week we are so excited to have Laurie Leopold, of 312 Beauty, showcase her favorite fall pairings.
I’ve got a major case of the blues. The indigo, navy, teal, denim and cornflower kind. Scotch Naturals to the rescue. Black and navy is one of my favorite color combos. I’ve been dressing up the bright navy Flying Scotsman polish with navy knits and black accessories. This braided wool hat and peep toe bootie are fall wardrobe staples.
Caleigh is a soft cornflower blue once you get it on your nails. It pairs perfectly with my favorite chambray shirt from Madewell. They are the authority on chambray, much like Scotch is on blues!
There is nothing more classic than a pair of blue jeans. Most days, I pair mine with a simple tee, sneakers and Man of the Moment. It’s a teal hue that complements any shade of jean in an interesting way.

Scotch Naturals Polish: Troya + J.Crew Boyfriend Jeans, J.Crew Football Tee, J.Crew D’orsay Flats, Barrington Gifts Striped Tote, BaubleBar Pendant
I will always be a fan of a good orangey-red nail polish. Troya is a color that I see myself wearing year round, no matter the occasion.
Scotch Naturals Polish: Stone Fence + J.Crew Drop Waist Dress, J.Crew Calf Hair Pump, Kate Spade Necklace, Nars Audacious Lipstick in Vera, Kate Spade Sunglasses
I find that greys can help tame down a classic bold outfit. Stone Fence is a soft grey that pairs well with brights, like this pink J.Crew. Drop Waist Dress.
Scotch Naturals Polish: Velvet Kilt + Riley Leather Midi Skirt, J.Crew Side Zip Stripe Tee, Joe’s Jeans Black Bootie, BaubleBar Ring
Once Fall weather starts to arrive, I tend to gravitate towards darker hues. Pairing a dark purple nail polish, like Velvet Kilt with blacks + whites is such a pretty combination, especially with the black leather midi skirt.
