Perfect Pairings: Joyce

Perfect Pairings is a series where we ask our favorite bloggers to pair their favorite Scotch Naturals polishes with their favorite outfits. This week we are thrilled to have the founder of Bronzer Bunny, Joyce, discuss with us about what she’s wearing as she transitions into fall; beauty products included!

I’m a girl who always loves being warm, and my mind is nearly always on summer. Due to an extended work trip to the Bay Area, I’m still totally thinking summer to fall transition in my fashion and beauty choices.

Canal St Daisy just screams summer to me – the perfect shade to dress up or down all season. I’ve paired this for a casual day around town with denim shorts from and my favorite drapey tank. Throw on a bit of sparkle, Kiehl’s microblur, and a bit of glory cream blush, and I’m ready to hit the beach or brunch.

Neat is the perfect workday neutral. A bit peach, a bit pink, but it really just goes with everything. I especially love it with this pleated skirt and delicate jersey tee. It goes perfectly with a statement necklace, a bright pinky-red lip and an even complexion. Throw on an edgy jacket or cardigan, and it’s perfect for when the sun goes down.

Velvet Kilt, a long sleeve silky blouse, and a cute textured pencil skirt totally takes me into fall. I love throwing on my much loved leather sleeved field jacket with this dark so purple it’s nearly black shade. Along with some contoured cheekbones, liquid liner, and almost duo chrome purple shadow, I’d say I’m ready for a fall night out!

Now that I’m heading home to a real fall season in Chicago, I’ll be sure to throw in some tights & fun jackets… and you can bet I’ll be wearing a bit of Canal St Daisy on my fingers all winter!

I’ve got a major case of the blues. The indigo, navy, teal, denim and cornflower kind. Scotch Naturals to the rescue. Black and navy is one of my favorite color combos.  I’ve been dressing up the bright navy Flying Scotsman polish with navy knits and black accessories. This braided wool hat and peep toe bootie are fall wardrobe staples.

Caleigh is a soft cornflower blue once you get it on your nails. It pairs perfectly with my favorite chambray shirt from Madewell. They are the authority on chambray, much like Scotch is on blues!

There is nothing more classic than a pair of blue jeans. Most days, I pair mine with a simple tee, sneakers and Man of the Moment. It’s a teal hue that complements any shade of jean in an interesting way.

Perfect Pairings: Ashlyn Williams

I will always be a fan of a good orangey-red nail polish. Troya is a color that I see myself wearing year round, no matter the occasion.

I find that greys can help tame down a classic bold outfit. Stone Fence is a soft grey that pairs well with brights, like this pink J.Crew. Drop Waist Dress.

Once Fall weather starts to arrive, I tend to gravitate towards darker hues. Pairing a dark purple nail polish, like Velvet Kilt with blacks + whites is such a pretty combination, especially with the black leather midi skirt.
